Gianluigi Buffon has said that he is unsure if he would like to coach Juventus when he retires as a player of the club.
The 37-year-old has made over 550 appearances for the Serie A giants since joining from Parma in 2001, and while the veteran goalkeeper expects to remain in football once hanging up his gloves, he does not know if he wants to be in charge at Juve.
"I don't know if I'd like to coach Juventus," Buffon said during a fan event. "Perhaps I'll have a much clearer idea on what I'd like to do once I actually finish playing.
"I think that I'll remain in football, but I haven't decided on what role yet. This is the most exciting job in the world and to stop now wouldn't be right. For now I don't know, so let's wait and see."
In what is Buffon's 15th season at the club, Juve have endured a troubled start to the campaign but are now just six points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan in fifth.
