The agent of Alessandro Del Piero has claimed that the Juventus legend would be "ideal" in the MLS.
It has been confirmed that the 37-year-old will leave the Serie A side at the end of the season after nearly 20 years with the club.
"Well, if it was up to him, he would have continued at Juventus," Antonio Caliendo told Goal.com. "So, now, I think that Del Piero is carefully considering his alternatives. Personally, I think MLS would be ideal for him because there he could display his immense talent.
"Think of people like [David] Beckham, who, thanks to MLS, has managed to extend his great career, bringing significant revenue to the entire US soccer movement and also himself.
"A player of the calibre of Del Piero would be suited to MLS."
Juventus are currently second in the Serie A table.
