Juventus have reportedly contacted Sheffield United over signing youngster Diego de Girolamo.
The 19-year-old forward is out of contract with the Blades in the summer and is free to negotiate with foreign clubs now.
De Girolamo has rejected United's attempts to tie him down to a contract extension and, according to the Daily Mail, the Italian champions are poised to swoop.
Former AC Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi, who now works with Italy's national youth teams, is said to have recommended the Italian Under-20 international to Juve.
De Girolamo, who is from Chesterfield, is eligible to represent the Azzurri through his Naples-born father.
