David Beckham has revealed that he received offers from Premier League clubs before signing a new deal with Los Angeles Galaxy.
The former England captain put pen to paper on a new two-year contract on Thursday following speculation over his future.
"I was offered the chance [to return to the Premier League], yes, but I'm happy here so that was a major factor in my decision - my family, my children, and playing for the Galaxy," he told reporters. "That was what I was passionate about."
Beckham moved to the Galaxy from Real Madrid in 2007.
