Leeds United boss Neil Warnock bemused by sack calls by fans

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is bemused that supporters were calling for him to be sacked following his side's 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough.

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is bemused by the reaction of the club's fans calling for him to be sacked following their 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough.

Boro ended a run of five successive defeats in the Championship thanks to Curtis Main's 81st-minute winner at the Riverside Stadium.

"Unless I run on the pitch and put in the chances, I don't know what to do," Warnock told reporters.

"If we'd have taken that first chance they would have been chanting our names. I think we've had a good season."

Leeds are currently 11th in the Championship, eight points adrift of the playoff places.
