Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Real Madrid could line up for Saturday's Champions League final with Liverpool.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti should be working with a fully-fit squad for Saturday's Champions League final with Liverpool at the Stade de France.

David Alaba missed the final-day draw with Real Betis in La Liga due to his adductor injury, but the Austrian defender is back in training and ought to be fine to start the game.

Alaba should therefore protect Thibaut Courtois alongside Eder Militao in Saint-Denis, although there have been calls for Nacho Fernandez to get the nod over the Brazilian.

Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy's spots in the wide areas are safe, while Casemiro occupies his number six role and prepares to do battle with compatriot Fabinho in the centre.

Toni Kroos and Luka Modric will feature just ahead of Casemiro, as Eduardo Camavinga hopes to make another major impact off the bench for the 13-time champions.

Rodrygo's recent European exploits coupled with Liverpool's high line makes him a strong candidate to start, but Ancelotti is reportedly set to stick with Federico Valverde from the off.

Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema will complete the Real attack as ever, with the latter aiming to net his 87th Champions League goal and move clear of Robert Lewandowski into third place in the all-time rankings.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Kroos, Casemiro, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius Jr
