Liverpool and FK Gomel have gone into half-time all square in their Europa League qualifying match this evening.
The first real chance of the match fell to Steven Gerrard after being put through by Jordan Henderson, but the Liverpool man seemed to trip over his own feet when in the box.
Gomel then had a big chance to take the lead when Platonov's cross found Ihor Voronkov, but his header went just wide of the far post. Just minutes later they had an even clearer chance, this time falling to Alumona, but the striker couldn't convert from six yards out.
Platonov had another chance to give the home side a lead towards the end of the half, but his header went just wide as Liverpool enjoyed another let off.
