Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that his team did not deserve to be awarded a penalty in the FA Cup tie with Everton.
During the first half, Everton defender Mason Holgate was adjudged to have held back Adam Lallana in the area, with James Milner scoring from the resulting spot kick.
However, after Everton were given a controversial penalty in the Premier League fixture between the sides last month, Klopp acknowledged that his team were fortunate on this occasion.
The 50-year-old told BBC Sport: "It was a similar situation [to the penalty against Liverpool for Everton last month] - the first one was no penalty in my opinion and this one wasn't also. It's the same."
Liverpool went on to record a 2-1 victory over their near neighbours thanks to Virgil van Dijk's late header.
