Charlie Adam has said that Liverpool are ready to end their six-year trophy drought in this afternoon's Carling Cup final.
The Reds take on Championship side Cardiff City at Wembley and start heavy favourites to claim their eighth league cup.
"We're ready and we're looking forward to it and it's going to be a great occasion for everybody," Adam told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"But you can only enjoy it if you win it."
The 26-year-old, who played at the national stadium with former side Blackpool in the 2010 Championship playoff final, also spoke of the pitch's challenging size.
"It's a big pitch and it can take its toll, especially when I played in the play-off final," added the Scotland international.
"But you can use that to your advantage and hopefully on the day we're ready and we prepare well."
This afternoon's game kicks off at 4pm.
