Joe Hart: 'Boos won't affect Raheem Sterling against Liverpool'

Joe Hart says that Raheem Sterling's laid-back personality will help him ignore boos from fans when Manchester City face his former club Liverpool on Saturday evening.

Joe Hart has said that Raheem Sterling will not be fazed by boos from Liverpool fans on Saturday evening.

The 20-year-old will play against his former club for the first time after forcing a move to Manchester City in the summer.

"Raheem is a very, very laid-back guy and a great addition to our squad. He takes everything in his stride," Hart told reporters.

"I'm a big fan of his and will back him all the way. He's the same guy whether he's getting pounded or praised.

"I think the whole thing with Raheem has gone now."

The attacker has made 15 appearances for the Citizens, scoring six goals.
