Team News: Sergio Aguero fit to lead Manchester City line

Sergio Aguero starts Manchester City's clash with Liverpool after recovering from injury.

Manchester City welcome back striker Sergio Aguero for their Premier League clash against Liverpool this afternoon.

However, Manuel Pellegrini is without David Silva, Vincent Kompany, Wilfried Bony and Samir Nasri, who all sit the game out with injuries.

Jurgen Klopp selects Dejan Lovren in place of the injured Mamadou Sakho, while James Milner plays despite missing England's international fixtures last week.

Striker Daniel Sturridge, who has not yet played for Klopp, is named among the Liverpool substitutes.

Manchester City: Hart; Sagna, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov; Toure, Fernando; Navas, De Bruyne, Sterling; Aguero
Subs: Caballero, Clichy, Otamendi, Zabaleta, Fernandinho, Delph, Iheanacho

Liverpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno; Lucas, Can, Milner; Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino
Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Randall, Allen, Ibe, Sturridge, Benteke
