Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly poised to add Manchester City's European regional scouting manager Barry Hunter to his staff at Anfield.
Rodgers, who took charge of the Reds 17 days ago, has been given the freedom to appoint a number of his own backroom staff.
Italian talent expert Hunter will make the move west while City boss Roberto Mancini enjoys his holiday in Sardinia, according to The Mirror.
Liverpool are also expected to sign Hunter's colleague Dave Fallows.
