Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted with his side's 1-1 draw at Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has described his side's 1-1 draw at Chelsea on Sunday as a "great result".

The Reds were behind at the break at Stamford Bridge when John Terry nodded in from a corner, but they earned a share of the spoils thanks to Luis Suarez's header.

"Coming here is very difficult and with the group that we're working with at the moment it was a great result," Rodgers told BBC Sport.

"Our senior players are being phenomenal at the moment and our young players are getting great experience. If we can add one or two in the coming months, we can turn these draws into wins."

Sunday's point has kept the Merseysiders in 13th place in the Premier League table.
