Liverpool have beaten Melbourne Victory 2-0 in their pre-season friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Both sides created plenty of chances during the opening stages, but it was the visitors who took the lead on 32 minutes when Steven Gerrard met Joe Allen's pass to sweep the ball into the net.
Liverpool nearly doubled their advantage soon after, only for Jordan Henderson's long-range effort to be kept out by goalkeeper Nathan Coe.
Coe was in action again at the start of the second half as he saved Martin Skrtel's header before denying Henderson and Fabio Borini.
Meanwhile, Brad Jones was kept busy in goal at the other end as he had to deal with Connor Pain's strike.
Luis Suarez was introduced with around 20 minutes left, and the Uruguayan created Liverpool's second goal in injury time when he teed up Iago Aspas to tap in.
