Liverpool trialist Mumuni Abubakar has admitted that he hopes to sign a permanent contract with the Premier League side.
The New Edubiase United player has spent the last two weeks at the Merseyside club's Melwood training facility.
"They were impressed by my performances during training and the match that I played," the Ghana Under-20s international told Joy Sports. "The technical team like my style of play, so hopefully they will sign me.
"When you go to trials, they talk to your agent and not you the player. Liverpool is talking with my agent now.
"They're impressed with my performances so we should get a favourable response."
Liverpool, who are currently seventh in the Premier League table, travel to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
