Besiktas boss Senol Gunes confirms that Anderson Talisca will leave the club this summer and drops a strong hint that he will join Liverpool over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes has confirmed that Anderson Talisca will leave the club this summer and hinted that he will join Liverpool.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas from Benfica, scoring 37 goals during his two seasons in Turkey including 20 in the current campaign.

Talisca's form has seen him linked with the likes of Manchester United, Roma and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Gunes suggested that Liverpool are leading the race by claiming that he will be rivals with former Besiktas teammate Cenk Tosun, who is now at Everton.

"Talisca was already gone at the winter break," Gunes told reporters.

"I'm sorry that he won't be with us any longer. I wish he could stay for his sake and ours. He already had a deal in place. He might be rivals with Cenk Tosun."

Talisca is a Brazilian Under-23 international, but is yet to win a senior cap for his country.
