Dani Pacheco leaves Liverpool

Spanish striker Dani Pacheco leaves Liverpool on a permanent basis for Alcorcon.

Liverpool striker Dani Pacheco has completed a permanent transfer to Alcorcon.

The 22-year-old joined the Reds from Barcelona's academy in 2007, but he was only able to make 17 appearances in all competitions.

Instead, he had numerous loan spells with Norwich City, Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and more recently Huesca.

However, he has now signed a contract with Spanish Segunda Division side Alcorcon and had this to say on Twitter: "I'm proud to announce that I'm joining @AD_Alcorcon permanent. I wanna say massive thanks to LFC for all they gave me in 6 years."

Pacheco has been handed the number 11 shirt.
