Everton favourites to sign Rory Donnelly

Everton emerge as favourites ahead of Swansea and Liverpool to sign the promising Northern Ireland U21 international Rory Donnelly from Cliftonville.

Everton have emerged as favourites to secure the signature of promising Northern Irish striker Rory Donnelly.

The Cliftonville man has attracted the interest of Swansea City and Everton's Merseyside rivals Liverpool but it is the Toffees who are believed to have tabled the best offer for the 19-year-old.

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that a £100,000 offer had been accepted and that they were discussing personal terms with the 19-year-old while Kenny Dalglish admitted that they had also registered their interest.

"We've registered our interest, that's as far as it goes," Dalglish said.

The semi-professional Belfast outfit reportedly want a deal to be finalised by Friday.
