Liverpool have reportedly made Mario Gotze one of their top summer transfer targets as the German continues to fail to make an impression at Bayern Munich.
Gotze, 23, scored the winner for Germany in the 2014 World Cup final and went on to start 28 Bundesliga matches for Bayern the following season.
However, he has started just five league games under Pep Guardiola this term and his struggles to nail down a first-team place are said to have alerted Liverpool, managed by Gotze's former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.
According to The Sun, Bayern are considering cashing in on Gotze and Liverpool could be ready to pounce.
