Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club are "thinking about" offering Jon Flanagan a new contract.
The full-back, who spent 18 months on the sidelines with a knee injury, will come to the end of his contract in the summer.
Since Flanagan's return, Klopp has not yet selected the player to feature in a Premier League game.
When asked about the Englishman's future in Tuesday's press conference, Klopp said: "Of course we are thinking about it. Best news is that Flanno is back. After long time you have to be careful.
"Hopefully at the end we can find a positive solution for both sides."
Flanagan had two knee operations during his spell on the sidelines.
