Liverpool to pay £14.5m Andriy Yarmolenko release clause?

Liverpool are willing to pay the £14.5m release clause of Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko, according to a report.

Liverpool could be set to pay the £14.5m release clause of Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko, a report suggests.

The 25-year-old Ukraine international is on Brendan Rodgers's radar and the Northern Irishman is willing to pay the release fee, according to Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.

Arsenal were also allegedly interested in Yarmolenko, who was said to be holding out for a move to Spanish champions Barcelona.

However, further reports claim that Barcelona have no interest in signing the player.

The attacking midfielder has scored three goals in six Ukrainian Premier League appearances this season.
