Lyon have reportedly approached Liverpool with an offer for out-of-favour attacker Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Switzerland international has admitted that he is eyeing a move away from Anfield this summer and was nowhere to be seen against Osasuna on Monday night.
With Shaqiri tied down to Jurgen Klopp's side until 2023, it will reportedly take an offer of £12.75m to prise him away from Merseyside in the current transfer window.
According to L'Equipe, Lyon have made an undisclosed offer to Liverpool for the attacker, with new manager Peter Bosz a keen admirer of his versatility.
However, the report adds that Shaqiri's high wages could make a transfer difficult, while Napoli, Sevilla, Lazio and Villarreal are all rumoured to be keeping a close eye on developments.
The 29-year-old only scored one goal in 22 Liverpool games last season, but he struck three times for Switzerland at Euro 2020.
