Report: Inter Milan reject Mario Balotelli loan

A report claims that Inter Milan have rejected the chance to re-sign Mario Balotelli on loan from Liverpool this summer.

Inter Milan have reportedly rejected the opportunity to take their former striker Mario Balotelli on loan from Liverpool.

Balotelli joined Liverpool from AC Milan last summer, but struggled during his first season at Anfield – managing just one league goal.

According to The Express, the Italian international was offered to his former club, but Inter are not interested in re-signing the 24-year-old.

Balotelli represented Inter between 2007 and 2010, before moving onto Manchester City, where he spent three years.

The controversial forward is not currently on Liverpool's pre-season tour of Australia.
