Report: Liverpool accept Sunderland bid for Fabio Borini

Sunderland have a bid for Fabio Borini accepted by Liverpool, according to a report.

Liverpool have reportedly accepted a bid from Sunderland for striker Fabio Borini.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer after falling down the pecking order, with the Reds signing Christian Benteke and Danny Ings.

The Italian scored seven goals in 32 appearances during a loan spell with the Black Cats in the 2013-14 season before allegedly rejecting a permanent move to the Stadium of Light.

According to Sky Sports News, Sunderland have agreed a deal totalling £10m for Borini.

Borini has scored three goals in 38 appearances since joining Liverpool in 2012.
