West Ham United defender Winston Reid has reportedly emerged as a surprise January transfer target for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
Reid arrived at the Hammers from Danish side Midtjylland in 2010 and has emerged into one of the Premier League's most consistent defenders.
According to the Daily Express, Rodgers is keen on strengthening his defence in the winter window and has identified the New Zealand international as his main target.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the 26-year-old centre-back, who has made 18 appearances for his national team.
