Manchester City's first ever Champions League match ended 1-1 at home against Napoli.
The Italian side were a constant threat on the break, and after a goalless first half, Edinson Cavani gave them the lead when he slotted past Joe Hart on 69 minutes.
City hit the woodwork twice before Aleksander Kolarov levelled the score with 15 minutes to go with a perfectly struck free kick.
In the other match in the group, Bayern Munich won away at Villarreal 2-0.
