Derby County boss Nigel Clough admits that he could lose Will Hughes at the end of the season.

Derby County boss Nigel Clough has admitted that he could lose much-coveted midfielder Will Hughes at the end of the season.

The 18-year-old, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona this season, is widely expected to be the subject of a transfer bid in the summer.

"If somebody blows us out of the water with a massive offer then he will go, but that is the same at any club," Clough told the Daily Star.

"Every player has his price, in any league, but we will always try to keep our best players. Our aim is to get into a position financially to hang on to them."

It is understood that Hughes is valued at £10m.
