Manchester City are reportedly prepared to offer Rodri a significant pay rise to extend his stay with the club.
Rodri has developed into one of the world's best midfielders since joining Man City from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019.
The Spain international has made 257 competitive appearances for the Citizens, chipping in with 26 goals and 30 assists.
As an influential player in the Man City side, Rodri has helped the club win four Premier League titles, two EFL Cups, the FA Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Rodri went on to showcase his talents at Euro 2024, with his role in Spain's success earning him the Player of the Tournament award.

Man City set to offer Rodri improved contract
The 28-year-old is still under contract with Man City until the summer of 2027 after signing a five-year deal in July 2022.
However, according to The Mirror, the Premier League champions are preparing to offer Rodri a new contract to secure his long-term future.
The report claims that Man City are ready to give Rodri a considerable pay rise to around £375,000 a week which would move him alongside the club's top earners of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.
There is also a belief that the Citizens are ready to instigate talks with Haaland over a pay rise, with the Norwegian currently in the third season of a five-year contract.

Man City wary of Rodri interest
Man City are seemingly keen to tie Rodri down to a new deal due to reported interest from European champions Real Madrid.
Earlier this summer, Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal admitted that he was trying to convince his Spain teammate to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
A recent report claimed that Los Blancos are drawing up plans to launch a bid to sign the Spaniard next summer.
Real Madrid have seen their midfield options weakened by the departure of Toni Kroos, who decided to retire from professional football earlier this summer.
There is also potential that Luka Modric could leave next summer, having signed a one-year deal to keep him at the club until the end of the season.
