Manchester City are reportedly weighing up a swoop for Hoffenheim midfielder Dennis Geiger.
The 21-year-old has spent his entire footballing career with Hoffenheim, progressing through the youth system before making his first-team debut in 2017.
This season, the German has contributed three assists in nine Bundesliga appearances, which is believed to have attracted the attention of Bayern Munich.
However, according to Sport1, City are also interested in a move for Geiger, who has been capped at Under-21 level by Germany.
Geiger's versatility is shown by the fact that he has operated as a holding midfielder, central midfielder and attacking midfielder for Hoffenheim during the 2019-20 campaign.
Everton are also thought to be keeping a close eye on developments ahead of the January window.
