Milan forward Alexandre Pato could move to Manchester City in a part-exchange deal with Carlos Tevez.

AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato could be on his way to Manchester City in a part-exchange deal with Carlos Tevez.

The two clubs are currently in negotiations over the Argentine striker.

However, Brazil international Pato has cast doubt over his future in Milan after he revealed that he would like a better relationship with head coach Massimiliano Allegri.

"I would like to have a more direct relationship with Allegri," he said.

"I won't say much more. If he thinks it is right to criticise me, then I have to keep my head down and work. I have to respect what the coach says.

"But the fact remains that if he has seen something wrong with my game then he should come to me directly so we can discuss it."

The 22-year-old has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
