Tony Pulis: 'Saido Berahino can leave for top-four club'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis reveals that the club would not stand in Saido Berahino's way should a top-four side meet his valuation in the summer.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has indicated that striker Saido Berahino could depart The Hawthorns during the summer.

Manchester City are one of a number of clubs who have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old, and Pulis has revealed that while he is keen to keep the attacker, he would not stand in his way providing that a top-four club meet his valuation.

The 57-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "West Bromwich Albion will not stop him as long as the deal is right for the football club. We will not stop him joining a top-four club.

"We hope and pray that he stays with us because he's got a lot more to come and we don't think he is at the end of his development.

"However, if a top-four club comes in and the clubs agree a fee then fine, it's all done, people can shake hands and say what a great job he has done for the football club."

The England Under-21 international has scored 20 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions this season.
