Midfielder Ander Herrera admits that this year's Champions League has become "enormous" to Manchester United.

Midfielder Ander Herrera has claimed that Manchester United can still have a "massive" season, despite sitting 13 points adrift of Manchester City in the Premier League table.

United have been second best to their near neighbours for much of the campaign, but Jose Mourinho's side are still competing for glory in two cup competitions.

The North-West giants are looking to win both the Champions League and FA Cup, and Herrera has acknowledged that gaining success in Europe would be "enormous" for the club.

The 28-year-old is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying: "I don't think about City, just about us. To win the Champions League would be enormous for us. Massive.

"So if you said City win the title and we win the Champions League this time I would sign that document right now. People forget that it's still possible for us to win two big titles this season - the Champions League and FA Cup. We are still in the race for both. It could be an adventure to do it."

United head into the second leg of their last-16 tie with Sevilla having earned a goalless draw from the first fixture in Spain.
