Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho "sad" about rivals losing Champions League openers

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says that he is "sad" that his Premier League rivals suffered defeats in their opening Champions League group games.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he was unhappy to see his Premier League rivals suffer defeats in their opening Champions League group matches.

The West London outfit were the only English club to win this week as they secured a 4-0 triumph over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal all suffered defeats against PSV Eindhoven, Juventus and Dinamo Zagreb respectively.

"I think it's sad, I think it's bad," the Daily Star quotes Mourinho as saying. "I'm not happy. I don't want Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal to lose in the Champions League."

Chelsea will now switch their attention to Saturday's match against Arsenal.
