Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Manchester United make the trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening having begun the new Premier League campaign in perfect fashion.

Despite concerns over a lack of additions in midfield and attack, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer witnessed his team thrash Chelsea by a 4-0 scoreline at Old Trafford.

United will now travel to Molineux to face Wolves, having failed to get the better of Nuno Espirito Santo's side on three occasions last season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the fixture in the West Midlands.

Alexis Sanchez

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Lack of fitness
Possible return date: August 19 (vs. Wolves)

Solskjaer has acknowledged that Sanchez is behind the rest of the group in terms of fitness, having only recently returned from his summer break. While the Chile international will not start at Molineux, there is a small chance of the attacker being selected on the bench.

Eric Bailly

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Bailly suffered another serious knee injury during pre-season, which has required surgery. The centre-back is not expected back until the end of 2019.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Fosu-Mensah is still out of contention having suffered a knee injury during his loan period with Fulham last season. No potential return date has been provided by Solskjaer.

Joel Pereira

Third-choice goalkeeper Pereira suffered a back problem at the start of the month, which kept him out of contention at the weekend. The Portuguese is unlikely to play any part of the game on Monday.
