Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has praised Robin van Persie's presence and goalscoring ability.
Van Persie joined the Red Devils from Arsenal for £24m during the summer, and has already scored four goals in three games for the club, including a hat-trick against Southampton last weekend.
Carrick believes that having such a prolific player in the side is satisfying and fills his teammates with confidence.
"World-class players have got a presence. When the ball came to Robin for his first goal on Sunday, I was so confident it was going to be a goal," said Carrick.
"To have someone like that in your team is satisfying because you know if you supply him with the right ammunition, more often than not, he will put it away."
United's next match will come at home against Wigan Athletic on September 15.
