Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle believes that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has orchestrated a "wonderful piece of business" by snapping up Robin van Persie from Arsenal.
The former Premier League champions are expected to complete the signing of the 29-year-old in the next 48 hours after the two clubs agreed a fee yesterday, which is believed to be in the region of £24m.
"Robin van Persie is a quality player and for Manchester United to secure that signature is a wonderful piece of business," said Coyle. "It adds to the goals department.
"They have Rooney, Welbeck has improved no end and there is Javier Hernandez as well. It will put them back in the title race and that is what makes the Premier League so exciting."
Meanwhile, Ferguson has claimed that he expects the Dutchman to make his debut against Everton on Monday night.
