Sir Alex Ferguson facing goalkeeping dilemma

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson faces goalkeeping dilemma.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly weighing up his goalkeeping situation as the second half of the season approaches.

Anders Lindegaard, who began the season as second-choice, has started the past two games and has not conceded a single goal in his five league appearances to date.

David de Gea, meanwhile, is still relatively inexperienced in English football and the club's coaching staff are unsure as to which keeper remains the best bet for the near future.

Danish international Lindegaard, who could start against Blackburn on Saturday, has admitted that goalkeeping coach Eric Steele has improved his game.

"Eric Steele has taught me everything. He's torn me apart and built me up again. I owe him a lot for the goalkeeper I am today. It's been a long journey and it's been amazing," Lindegaard told The Mirror.

Manchester United would move top of the Premier League with victory over Blackburn on Saturday afternoon.
