Ander Herrera: 'Manchester United have to finish in top four'

Manchester United's February Player of the Month Ander Herrera says that the team must finish in the top four this season.

Manchester United's February Player of the Month Ander Herrera has said that the team must finish in the top four this season.

The 25-year-old Spaniard received 76% of the vote in an online poll, well ahead of Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling who finished second and third respectively.

Herrera told MUTV: "This means a lot for me because the votes came from our fans and I'm very happy and grateful to them. I think they value my work and my passion for playing and I want to try to keep helping the team.

"I was happy with my form but I would have been even happier if we had won against Swansea away. We won four games last month and now we have to continue that – we are in the top four and we want to be there until the end of the season."

Herrera has played 16 league games for United since joining the Red Devils last summer, scoring three goals.
