Manchester City assistant boss Brian Kidd believes that Manchester United will get "jittery" in the final few games of the season.

Manchester City assistant manager Brian Kidd believes that Premier League leaders Manchester United could suffer from jitters in the final five games of the season.

While City boss Roberto Mancini has seemingly conceded the title, Kidd is refusing to rule out the possibility of the North West outfit closing down the 13-point gap.

Last year, United were poised to claim the trophy until the dying minutes of the season when Sergio Aguero netted a crucial goal in City's clash against Queens Park Rangers.

"There will be some jittery moments and what happened last year it was a bad experience for them," Kidd said in a press conference. "They will have been shocked by it. It's not over until it's mathematically finished with."

City will take on Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday, while United go up against Aston Villa.
