Juan Mata: "Frustrated" Manchester United must "stand up"

Juan Mata urges his "frustrated" Manchester United teammates to "stand up" in a bid to improve the team's recent poor form.

Juan Mata has conceded that the entire Manchester United squad are "frustrated" by the team's recent results.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions, although just three of those encounters have ended in victories.

Reflecting on that run of form following Saturday's 0-0 draw with West Ham United, Mata has admitted that the players must "stand up" in order to reverse their current fortunes.

"Of course, I understand that you are frustrated, because we are too, but we have to keep looking ahead, give everything in each game, and we will get the results that we want," the 27-year-old wrote on his official blog page.

"What we have to do now is not to mourn but to stand up and try to improve. We are the first ones who want to win and to go back to a good streak, and we know that the only way to get there is by sticking together."

United are next in action tomorrow night when they take on Wolfsburg in Germany needing to win to guarantee their spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
