Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino wants a return to former club Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has prioritised a return to former club Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

The Argentine's future in Paris is said to be in doubt, with the likes of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane being lined up to replace the 50-year-old in the summer.

A return to the Premier League to Manchester United has been touted, with the Red Devils on the hunt for a permanent manager once Ralf Rangnick's interim spell finishes at the end of the campaign.

However, Talksport are now reporting that Pochettino wants a return to North London with Spurs instead of United, or even a move to Real Madrid as well, where the PSG boss has also been heavily linked to take over.

Pochettino was sacked from Tottenham in November 2019, just months after leading the club to its first-ever Champions League final, before being appointed by PSG in January 2021.

For their former boss to return however, Spurs would have to make a decision on current manager Antonio Conte's future, who has cut a frustrated figure in recent weeks.
