Renowned football agent Mino Raiola, whose clients include Paul Pogba, Erling Braut Haaland and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, denies reports that he has passed away.

Renowned football agent Mino Raiola has disproven widespread reports that he has passed away.

News broke earlier on Thursday suggesting that the 54-year-old had died following a struggle with illness.

However, Raiola has now taken to Twitter to show that he is indeed still alive, although he is understood to be in critical condition in hospital.

Raiola is one of the most high-profile agents in world football, with clients including the likes of Erling Braut Haaland, Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

A number of the players on his books are expected to move club this summer, with Pogba out of contract at Manchester United and Haaland heavily linked with a switch to either Manchester City or Real Madrid once a release clause is activated in his Borussia Dortmund contract.

Today's tweet denying reports of his death was Raiola's first comment on the social media network since another health update on January 12.
