Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that all three of his goalkeepers will feature in the opening three matches of the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that goalkeepers David de Gea, Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira will all feature in the opening three matches of the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

United are currently in North America preparing for the start of the 2017-18 campaign, and the Red Devils will play five matches in the US before returning to Europe.

Mourinho has confirmed that De Gea and Pereira will both play the opening game against Los Angeles Galaxy on July 16, before De Gea sits out the second against Real Salt Lake, and Pereira the third against Manchester City as Romero is given his chance.

"The first match, Romero does not play. We play David for 45 and the kid {Pereira) for 45," Mourinho told MUTV.

"In the second match, David does not play. We play the kid for 45 and Romero for 45. The third match against Man City, we don't play Joel. We will play David for 45 and Romero for 45."

Man United, who open their 2017-18 Premier League campaign at home to West Ham United on August 13, will also play Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona towards the end of this month.
