Paul Scholes has claimed that Jesse Lingard told him that the dressing room at Manchester United is "a disaster".
The Red Devils saw their hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League table suffer a severe blow on Saturday afternoon when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal in North London.
The 20-time English champions have now lost three of their last four league matches, while they have won just two of their last 10 games in all competitions during a poor run of form.
There are believed to be a number of unhappy players at Old Trafford, with big changes expected this summer under the leadership of incoming head coach Erik ten Hag, who will take charge at the end of the campaign.
Former Man United midfielder Scholes has said that Lingard, who is out of contract at the end of June, told him the dressing room at the club "is just a disaster".
"I had a quick chat with Jesse [Lingard] the other day," Scholes told DAZN. "I'm sure he won't mind me saying - the dressing room is just a disaster."
Man United are currently sixth in the table, six points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who also have a game in hand on Ralf Rangnick's side.
