Louis van Gaal: 'Manchester United will start winning away'

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal admits that his side need to start winning away from home.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is confident that his side will start winning away from Old Trafford in the near future.

United have lost their last two away games in all competitions, but the Dutchman has backed his players to bounce back and start asserting themselves on the road.

Van Gaal told reporters: "We have already noticed we lost against Swansea and PSV Eindhoven.

"We have time and also matches that we can improve in that way and we shall. In the Champions League it is important that you do not lose those away matches."

The Red Devils head south to take on Southampton at St Mary's Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
