Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic says that the club have got the Premier League title in their grasp.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has declared that the Premier League trophy is in the club's grasp.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side moved 15 points clear at the top of the table after Saturday's 1-0 win over Reading.

Serbian defender Vidic has said that United should not let their lead slip, but still enjoy the final nine games of the campaign.

"If you look at the 15 points you have to say it is a big gap and we shouldn't let that change," he told the Manchester Evening News. "We have the title in our hands but we still have games to play and we have some tough games as well.

"We have some away games that are traditionally hard for us. Nothing is finished yet but we are in a good position. I think last season is the reason why sometimes you can feel the fans in the stands get nervous and they think about what happened.

"But I don't think we should allow that to happen again. We can't allow that to happen again. We are in a good position now and we should enjoy playing football. It is a good time for us."

United are next in league action when they travel to Sunderland on March 30.
