Antonio Valencia will not be leaving Manchester United for Juventus in January, according to his agent.

The agent of Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has revealed that his client will not be leaving the club during the January transfer window.

Valencia has started just three league matches this season and as a result has been linked with Italian side Juventus.

However, Diego Herrera Larrea has claimed that a move away from Old Trafford is very unlikely.

"I am aware of rumours of the Juventus interest, but for my part there is nothing concrete," Larrea told calciomercato.com. "I don't think that Juve has spoken with Manchester United because I was not informed, but I cannot exclude it as a possibility.

"I see it as very difficult that he leaves United, first of all because he has recently signed a new four-year deal and because he and his family are very well in Manchester.

"But in football, never say never."

The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils in 2009 from Wigan Athletic.
