Burnley and Sheffield United are both reportedly interested in taking Manchester United's Amad Diallo on loan next season, with the player set for another spell away from Old Trafford.
Having joined the Red Devils from Serie A outfit Atalanta in 2021 for a fee of around £37m, there has been plenty of focus on the Ivorian's progression.
The 20-year-old travelled north of the border to join Rangers for the second half of the 2021-22 campaign but struggled at Ibrox, scoring just three times in 13 appearances under Giovani van Bronckhorst.
A loan move to Sunderland last season allowed the attacker to show glimpses of his potential, with the player providing 16 goal contributions in 37 Championship matches as the Black Cats pushed for promotion to the Premier League.
Tony Mowbray's men ultimately came up short in their race to the top flight - losing in their playoff semi-final clash against Luton Town - however the United loanee is said to have gained a lot of admirers with his performances.

According to Football Insider, first-tier newcomers Burnley and Sheffield United are keen on bringing Diallo into their squads on loan this term, as both look to avoid relegation following on from promotion in 2022-23.
Vincent Kompany is understood to be looking to recruit more attacking talent ahead of their Premier League opener in August against Manchester City, in the knowledge that striker Michael Obafemi will not be fit for the start of the campaign due to recent surgery.
The former Swansea City man has made the permanent switch from South Wales after a loan spell last season, however a hamstring injury suffered whilst on international duty in June will see the Irishman miss the beginning of his side's return to the top flight.
After hitting the 100-point mark in the Championship last term, Burnley are also believed to be attempting to bring Southampton's Nathan Tella back to Turf Moor after a successful loan spell in Lancashire.
Paul Heckingbottom guided his side to second place in the second tier in 2022-23 to secure a return to the Premier League for the Blades, and the 45-year-old is said to be a huge admirer of Diallo.

The report also claims that there is interest in the Ivorian from clubs recently relegated to the Championship, with Daniel Farke's Leeds United and Russell Martin's Saints reportedly aiming to sign the attacker on loan.
Although a temporary move away from Old Trafford seems most likely at this moment, it is understood that Erik ten Hag is prepared to give Diallo a chance to audition for a place in his plans next season, meaning the winger is set to be used heavily during the Red Devils' pre-season fixtures.
With United reportedly readying to sell Sweden international Anthony Elanga and youngster Facundo Pellistri set to make a loan switch, the 20-year-old could find a spot available for him in the former Ajax man's first-team squad if he impresses in the coming weeks.
Manchester United begin their pre-season schedule on Wednesday afternoon with a clash against fierce rivals Leeds, before meetings with the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Wrexham follow in a busy July for Ten Hag's men.
