Dutch defender Alexander Buttner has moved a step closer to completing a move to Manchester United following the completion of a series of medical examinations.
The 23-year-old Vitesse Arnham full-back revealed United's interest yesterday evening.
Since then the switch has moved at some pace, with Buttner arriving in Manchester earlier today to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
Reports have claimed that the move could be finalised as early as this evening, with Buttner being unveiled in the red shirt of United tomorrow afternoon.
