Chelsea and Barcelona have reportedly identified Roma forward Paulo Dybala as a potential transfer target.
The 30-year-old is currently nearing the end of his second season at Stadio Olimpico having made the switch from Juventus in 2022.
After his impressive stint with their Serie A rivals, Dybala has gone on to contribute 32 goals and 17 assists from 69 appearances in all competitions.
However, Dybala has failed to win a trophy during his time in Rome, albeit his side are still chasing this season's Europa League trophy after finishing as runners-up in 2022-23.
With Daniele De Rossi having been confirmed as Roma's head coach on a full-time basis, a decision now needs to be undertaken regarding the future of the Argentina international.

Dybala yet to hold contract talks
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, who was writing on X, the relevant parties are yet to hold any serious negotiations regarding a new contract.
As it stands, Dybala has just over 14 months remaining on his existing terms, while there is a release clause present in his current deal.
Previously, it has been alleged that it stands at €12m (£10.3m), a figure that will naturally generate interest during the summer transfer window.
Galetti adds that clubs such as Chelsea and Barcelona have already gathered preliminary information on the potential availability of Dybala.

Is a transfer to Chelsea or Barcelona realistic?
Despite Dybala being due to turn 31 years of age in November, there are reasons why Chelsea and Barcelona hold an interest in his signature.
Chelsea have not got they expected from a similar player in Christopher Nkunku, who has spent much of the season on the sidelines through injury.
Furthermore, the Blues senior ranks could benefit from the experience of a player like Dybala, who has won five Serie A titles and a World Cup during his career.
Meanwhile, Barcelona may view Dybala as a cheaper alternative to one of their younger, more prized assets, who could be sold to boost their financial position.
In the past, clubs such have Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been linked with Dybala, but it remains to be seen whether that is still the case.
